Hook Help! – Call of the Druids
I’d love some help finding the right ad copy (cool words) for some adverts I’m running on Amazon. The trouble is we only have 150 characters to work with, so I’ve cut these back as much as I can without them simply not making sense.

- Seeking freedom a young Priestess escapes her betrothed. She embarks on a magical time traveling quest. Unprepared, she finds an overwhelming destiny.
- A young Priestess escapes an arranged marriage to embark on a journey through time. She fights for the light, but soon discovers evil has many faces.
- A young Priestess escapes an arranged marriage to embark on a magical time traveling quest. To find freedom and love, she’ll have to toughen up.
- A young Priestess escapes an arranged marriage to embark on a magical time traveling quest. To find freedom and love, she’ll have to overcome evil.

Thanks Margaret. That’s one of our favourites too.
John Barnes
For me it has to be option 4. It’s really the only version which would capture my initial interest in the book
Fiona Tarr
Thanks John. I’m glad there was one there to capture your interest. That’s the aim.

Lana
I like 2 best.
Fiona Tarr
Thanks Lana. Looks like I’ll have to run a few ads with different options.
Sue
2 but the wording magical time traveling quest is awkward
Fiona Tarr
Thanks Sue. Yep. I’ve dropped that out of most of my recent options. This is my latest try A young Priestess is trained to fight evil. To escape an arranged marriage, she will leap through time. Adventure is assured, survival isn’t.

#2 … it’s easier to relate to overcoming evil than the fantasy of magic
Fiona Tarr
Thanks Rob. That makes sense.
