News Fiona Tarr

Thanks to the Indie Community

Call of the Druids had a fantastic launch and I owe the success of the most purchases in the first week of any book I’ve released to a dedicated few.

Now we didn’t reach any USA today best seller lists or even top The Jericho Prophecy reaching #1 New Release in Mythology (thanks to an error with genre listing by Amazon early on day 1), but we sold more copies across all e-book retailers than on any new release to date. I’m pretty happy with that.

The reviews have been slow, but here are the first, all 5 Star reviews from UK and Australia along with the first US review

I’d really like to thank the Indie Author Community who helped me out with the release. I’ll be featuring some of their novels in my newsletter over the coming months, so please keep an eye out and support them if you can.

Call of the Druids is still available across all digital novel channels, but only until the 30th November. This is the first book I will be entering into Kindle Unlimited.  As of the 1st December, it will only be available on Amazon for a minimum of three months. So if you use Kobo, B&N, Apple or some other digital format, grab your copy now.

Hi Fiona, I don’t recall having heard that you were writing. Your mum invited me to her place to give me some supplies that she was offloading and then showed your books. I was pleasantly surprised! Lyn tells me that your genre is fantasy. I think that my daughters in law like reading fantasy, so I’ll check with the boys and maybe order some for presents at some stage. Congrats! Roxanne

Thanks for making contact Roxanne. Quite a few of the Investigator staff have read most of my books and feedback has been awesome. I really enjoy writing when I have time. If you do decide to get paperbacks for the girls, my two latest books The Jericho Prophecy and Call of the Druids would likely be a great place for them to start. I have paperbacks of both here and will be able to offer them at a great price. Alternatively, they are available on ebooks, so if the girls use ebook readers, you can gift them that way.
